Why are we doing this?

Serving the Lord as a minister in His church is the greatest work one can do but that work is not without its challenges. We all experience peaks and valleys in ministry and these events help us fulfill the command to “weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice.” As ministers who can relate to one another we need to “sharpen one another” (Proverbs 27:17).

- Isaac Bourne

Encouragement is so important for young ministers because ministry isn’t easy. There’s a lot I’m still learning, luckily ministry is all about growing as you go. Encouragement helps us not lose heart, during the growing pains and hardships of Kingdom work.

- Chris Elrod

I learned from a very young age how valuable our church family truly is. Having that support system is incredible, and it becomes even more special when we have a relationship with those going through similar situations as us. To be able to grow close to other ministers my age, to share stories with each other, to support each other, to share ideas with each other, and to encourage one other, has truly been a blessing to me in my ministry.

- Isaac May

I know the value that other, often more-experienced, ministers have played in my development. I have been given countless tidbits of wisdom and help over the years. I look forward to continuing to grow in ministy as well as helping facilitate opportunities for burdens to be shared, friendships to grow, and to witness the beauty of God’s servants gathered in unity.
